Availability of commercially important of marine fin fish and shell fish along Okha fish landing center, Gujarat

Abstract

Investigation on availability of commercially important marine fin fish and shell fish along Okha fish landing center, Gujarat was carried out during Jan 2011 to Dec 2011. On site sampling of marine fin fish and shell fish species were fort-nightly from Okha fish landing center. Total number species 89 fishes and 24 shell fishes were identified and recorded. The local name of fin fishes and shell fishes has been recorded as per locally known.
