Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry · 2017 · Vol. 6 · pp. 281–283

Abstract

The effect of development time on the fitness of female Trichogramma at Bio-Control Laboratory, Department of Entomology C.S.A. University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur during– 2014 and 2015. The survival of male and female Trichogramma chilonis was observed maximum in 24 hr and lowest after 96 hr. Sex ratio of Trichogramma chilonis after 8th day of emergence registered a male female ratio of 11:13 in 2014 and 7:8 in 2015. The maximum size of Trichogramma chilonis was recorded after 7th day of emergence with mean length of male and female recorded as 0.131 mm and 0.134 mm, respectively during 2014 and 0.141 mm and 0.140 mm, respectively during 2015.
