Noble corona virus & its effects on sports events

Abstract

The newly arrived Corona virus in the city of Wuhan in China in November 2019 has rapidly spread throughout the world.As a result millions of people are infected and thousand have lost their lives. To prevent the spread of noble corona virus lockdown was initiated in many major cities of various countries and later maximum countries went into complete lockdown &has created a worldwide crisis. The outbreak of the coronavirus, which as of April 9 has killed more than 90,000 people globally, has infected more than 1.5 million people worldwide. This has also had an impact on the sports world. Many players and coaches are also infected, this includes Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Daniele Rugani, New Zealand Cricketer Lockie Ferguson, 19-year-old winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, 23-year-old- Donovan Mitchell, Hannover 96 defender, 23-year-old Timo Hubers. Rudy Gobert, a 27-year-old NBA star, Evangelos Marinakis, the owner of Greek team Olympiacos. The preparations for the Olympic Games which began eight years ago, have also been postponed.Along with this many important international sports events such as football, marathon,Tennis, Golf, Formula-1, Racing, Boxing, Basketball, Cricket, Rugby, Moto GP, Cycling, Baseball, Table tennis, Judo, Weightlifting, Winter Sport, Wrestling, Horse racing, Badminton, Sumo etc.are also affected by the virus. Sports competitions are responsible for the socio-economy of the nation. Due the corona virus the economy of Olympic is in the loss. Overall, considering the situation created by this SARS-COV2, Pandemic, it is expected that the negative impact on the sports world is irreparable.
