Abstract
A roving survey was conducted in six taluks of Bagalkot districts during 2018-19 for the per cent disease incidence of cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) and aphids Aƒâ€ A‚‰Aƒâ€¦A‚½Aƒâ€ A‚‰Aƒâ€ A‚µAƒâ€¦A‚¯Aƒâ€žA‚â€sAƒâ€ A‚A¸Aƒâ€¦A‚½n in top three leaves. During survey it was observed that, the disease incidence ranged from 13-66%. Highest mean incidence of disease was nAƒâ€¦A‚½Aƒâ€ A‚A¸cAƒâ€žA‚A¾Aƒâ€žA‚Ai in Badami taluk (49.58%) whereas disease incidence lowest in Jamakhandi taluk (29.50%). More number of aphids Aƒâ€ A‚‰Aƒâ€¦A‚½Aƒâ€ A‚‰Aƒâ€ A‚µAƒâ€¦A‚¯Aƒâ€žA‚â€sAƒâ€ A‚A¸Aƒâ€¦A‚½n was observed in Badami (18.10) and least Aƒâ€ A‚‰Aƒâ€¦A‚½Aƒâ€ A‚‰Aƒâ€ A‚µAƒâ€¦A‚¯Aƒâ€žA‚â€sAƒâ€ A‚A¸Aƒâ€¦A‚½n in Jamakhandi (10.75).
