Successive reproductive performance and amino acid profiles in the newly hatched larvae of green mud crab (Scylla paramamosain) under captive condition

Abstract

Three successive reproductive performance and larvae quality from a single matting event of the green mud crab (Scylla paramamosain) was assessed by evaluating the reproductive capability, presence of amino acids in the newly hatched larvae and withstand of the larvae against starvation. The results of the present study revealed that, fecundity and egg fertilization rate was significantly higher (p
