Enzyme activities in peach rhizosphere as influenced by various soil management practices under replant situations: A pot culture study

Abstract

Soil enzymes represent an important component of microbial communities present in the plant rhizosphere where they play a substantial role in maintaining soil health and its environment. A unique balance of microbial especially enzyme activities contribute to maintaining soil health. Evaluation of soil health therefore requires indicators of all these components.
