Abstract

Sentiment Analysis is a process of classifying the given information into optimistic or undesirable or impartial category. Sentiment Analysis is also known as opinion mining, from the name itself means mining, mining about the opinions or views of the consumer for any entity or product. Sentiment Analysis deals with natural language processing and text mining. Major works in the field of Sentiment Analysis are twitter analysis (trend analysis), product surveying, brand evaluation, politics, government purposes, stock market, movie reviews and many more. The aim of this paper is to understand sentiment analysis, its uses and methodologies used, and its future aspects.
