Abstract

Assessment of fish stock assists fisheries managers in taking decisions toward sustainable fisheries. The study was conducted to find out the sex ratio, growth pattern and state of physical well being of Hemibagrus menoda in the Kangsha River Netrakona, Bangladesh. Report on the aspects of reproductive biology of this species in Bangladesh has so far not been documented. A total of 79 fish samples were collected from March 2016 to February 2017.
