Spider fauna (Arachnida, Araneae) from Sabah, Malaysia

Abstract
This is the first series representing a total of 222 spider species from 30 families and 130 genera recorded in Sabah. The data was obtained from available literatures, scientific expedition and other field collections from November 2010 to December 2011. A total of 40 species is considered as new record for this state. This inventory aims to offer valuable information that can be used as general guidelines for future research of Sabah spider fauna.
