Residue analysis of fenvalerate in fish tissues by gas chromatography

International Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Studies · 2016 · Vol. 4(5) · pp. 248–252

Abstract

The present study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of Fenvalerate in freshwater fish Labeo rohita. Fish were exposed to lethal concentrations for 24 h, the LC50 values for Fenvalerate at 24 h was 0.4749µgL-1 respectively. The 1/10th of 24 h LC50 was selected as sublethal concentrations. The present study was undertaken to determine the bio-accumulation of Fenvalerate in tissues of Labeo rohita exposed to sub-lethal concentrations 0.04749 µgL-1 for 15 days.
