Length-weight relationship, condition factor, length at first maturity and sex ratio of Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus in Lake Naivasha, Kenya

Abstract
Fish samples (541) were collected every two weeks from different parts of Lake Naivasha using gill nets (50 mm to 150 mm mesh size) and beach seines (< 10 mm) between November 2013 and February 2014.The main focus of the study was on sex ratio, length-weight relationship and body condition of Nile tilapia. Results revealed that there were more males sampled with a sex ratio of male to female of 2:1.
