Effects of conventional pesticide and cultural packages on damage and yield differences of cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) by diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella L.)

Abstract

Different cultural packages in controlling diamondback moth (DBM) on damage and yield differences of Copenhagen market cabbage variety were assessed. ‘Neem leaf extract+tomato intercrop+manure+mulch’; ‘Tomato intercrop+manure+mulch’; and ‘Neem leaf extract+manure+mulch’ treatments were compared with a popular commercial pesticide i.e. (Dimethoate) and Unsprayed treatments used as the control.
