Journal of Medicinal Plants Studies · 2013 · Vol. 1(3) · pp. 158–165

Abstract

Anti ulcer activity of root, stem and leave of Murrya koenigii (Linn.) Spreng was studied against ethanol, rnhydrochloric acid, indomethacin, stress and pyloric ligation induced gastric ulceration in albino rats. Significantrnantiulcer activity was observed in root, stem as well as leave of MurryaKoenigii (Linn.) Spreng in all the gastricrnulcer models studied. Maximum anti ulcer activity was found in root followed by leave and stem of Murrya koenigiirn(Linn.)Spreng.
