Voltammetric Trace Determination of Europium
International Journal of Chemical Studies · 2014 · Vol. 2(3) · pp. 01–05
Abstract
A simple and convenient method id described for the determination of europium based on differential pulse polarographic reduction of Eu(III) in ammonium chloride medium. Linearity of calibration curve was achieved upto 10 ppm with a limit of determination of 0.10 μg/ml. The possible interference of common metal ions was examined and ruled out. The method has been successfully applied for the analysis of europium in industrial waste samples.
