Abstract
In this brief chapter, I outline a methodology that can be used by those who wish to follow the philosophy and principles of critical systems thinking. This methodology is known as total systems intervention (TSI); it is dealt with at book length in Flood and Jackson (1991a). This account draws heavily on Chapter 3 of that book.
